Receiving Your Benefits- Our goal is to help you get the most out of your insurance benefits. In order to accomplish this, we must have certain information about your plan and may need to request preauthorization before you arrive for your visit. Please have your insurance card with you when you call to schedule your appointment. If you do not see the name of your plan on the list below, please call our insurance specialist at the location you would like to schedule your appointment at. Please confirm that we do accept your insurance at the time of scheduling. Chances are, we accept your insurance but the plan goes by an alternative name!
Participating vs. Non-Participating -We participate with most of the eye care and routine vision care plans in the area. If we are a Participating Provider for your plan, we will take care of the paperwork. The only fees we will ask of you will be appropriate copays or for non-covered services or materials. If we are not currently a participating provider with your plan, we will gladly provide you with a superbill or a HCFA and help in any way we can to get you appropriate reimbursement from your non-par plan. If you do not have any insurance coverage, we ask that you come to your appointment prepared to pay our usual and customary fees, minus a courtesy discount.
Our consultant will review your benefits with you to ensure you understand all of your benefits, available options and co-pays. If you do not have insurance, you have the peace of mind in knowing that our private practices have competitive pricing, often less than retail commercial entities. Please call our office to inquire about details on our special private pay packages for exams, contact lens and glasses. Or you may visit our "Promotions" page online.
